Death row inmates strolling (1995) Recommendation index: ★★★★☆☆
Susan Saran won the Best Actress Award at the 68th Academy Awards for her film. This film is based on the true experience of Sister Helen Hopkin.
This is not a movie to wash away criminals.
In fact, the criminal plot presented in the film is not only abstemious, but also appropriately makes the audience hate crime. Many people sympathize with the criminal because he has no money.
Because I don't have money, I can't afford a good lawyer.
Because there is no money, it is impossible to have a good growth environment.
He became a criminal because he had no money.
To be honest, I sympathize with him, at least until the last moment.
Over the past six years, he has appealed countless times that he was framed, but his appeal has failed until the last time.
He knew very well that there was no chance to turn over and enjoy the beauty of the world.
So he decided to confess at the last moment, and it was at this very moment that my sympathy for him ended abruptly.
Waiting for death is a double torture of body and spirit, and his pain is much greater than the instant annihilation of complete body.
Assassination of Kennedy (1991) Recommended index: ★★★★★★
It is much more noble to tell the story of conspiracy theory in fictional works (such as movies and novels) than to tell the same story in books that pretend to be very serious
This is a great American spirit movie.
It is not because of the real restoration of historical events, but the conspiracy theory story built by Oliver Stone through perfect editing.
Through his own strength, the male leader exposes the process of the sky shaking conspiracy, taking justice as the most powerful depth. For the sake of outstanding cases, he risked his life to expose the government's plot.
Kennedy's assassination may be difficult to find out, but even if the sky falls, he will pursue justice and oppose the regime of evil people. His fearless power is admirable.
I really enjoyed his last 30 minutes of accusation speech.
The final message of the film is very touching: dedicated to all young people with ideals.
Justice (1980) Recommendation index: ★★★★☆☆
There are many black humor details in the film.
The male leader has a rich sense of justice, and he goes all the way to fight for the people he wants to protect. However, the result of his rush is that he ended up in failure because of various systems and related personnel that are reckless.
The film exposed many corrupt points in American politics and law at that time.
For example, the "lawyer" who uses his position to seek promotion, X violent crime, and the "judge" who uses his power to make false testimony also expose the image of the character that is diametrically opposite to the traditional impression of this profession.
In the last lawsuit, the male owner angrily denounced the defendant judges and on-site corrupt figures he should defend. After he was thrown out of the court, he saw his best friend who needed to treat mental illness become a lawyer.
I believe that many people will feel the same when they see the last scene.
The world is crazy.
Gandhi (1982) Recommendation index: ★★★★★★
Gandhi always said that we did not use violence to contain violence, but faced the villains with honesty and integrity. It was we who won the final victory.
In history, evil can be achieved temporarily, but the ultimate victory is always love and justice.
But the sad fact is that Britain has repeatedly opened up to Gandhi, not because of how noble his character is, nor because of the love and justice Gandhi preaches.
It was because Britain feared that the anger of the Indian people would be uncontrollable after the loss of Gandhi.
So the saddest part of the film is that after Britain left, the violence in India no longer needs Gandhi's nonviolence to fetter them.
Gandhi was surprised to find that his theory of non violence seemed to have no market overnight, and no one was willing to hear him say that the power of love and justice outweighed violence.
Gandhi was abandoned by his own people and finally killed by his own people.
I wish it was just a movie story, but it is a fact.
Scandal (1950) Recommendation index: ★★★★☆☆
The film is an early work of Akira Kurosawa, released in 1950.
At the moment when such star scandals are rampant on the Internet, this film is extremely appropriate.
In fact, the story line is very simple. A lawyer who struggled between conscience and money found conscience at the last moment of the court's judgment. He accepted the benefits of the defendant by confessing his career, and finally the plaintiff won the lawsuit.
In this film, the director still leaves a trace of kindness in the human nature.
No matter how bad the villain is, there is still a chance to save him.
Let us hope that those unfortunate people who have gone astray will soon repent.
We do this not only to occupy a moral highland, but also for our own sake - everyone is not a saint, and we can't avoid the mistakes that should be made, so forgiving others is also forgiving ourselves.

Most of the characters are relatively single, and the unity of the play is not very good.
But this will not affect Kurosawa's successful portrayal of Hirota.
Thanks for watching Xiaozhu's movie. If you like my recommendation, please remember three times.
